I admit, I haven't really sat down to watch too many romance movies. But this movie was a true classic! It didn't feel like it was trying to be some big, dramatic love story and I think that's what made it so good to me. It's honest, awkward, and full of heart in all the best ways. It's a love story, yes, but it's also about believing in someone, even when the world tells you not to. And I loved every second of it!

Kali, this is my wife's favorite movie. She adores it. I tried to imitate the iconic scene when I proposed to her, but it got all messed up because it was pouring rain. I still proposed to her in the middle of the street in the rain. 😁

2025-02-15 09:27:53 +0000 UTCThis was definitely the heartwarming and endearing movie we really needed after getting wrecked by Infinity War yesterday LOL. This was the first time I saw this movie and I really enjoyed it! I love how pure Lloyd and Diane are. No ulterior motives, just feeling what they're feeling, and going through all of life's bumps together. It really was a great reminder that no matter how different you might be, as long as you stay true to yourself, the right one out there will love you for who you are. Also got a lot of the same vibes from Chloe and Rachel's relationship in Life is Strange. Especially coming off of you just playing that That jump scare with turning on the car with the stereo blasting was so mean haha. Tho I can't even count how many times I did that to myself in my first Toyota LOL

She is uncredited in the cast list but the person that played his sister was his real life sister Joan Cusack. To carbon date myself, I was a teenager through the late 80's and I know it's easy to say at my age but I miss that time. So much less craziness going on. No social media, no cell phones and everything just felt calmer then the world we live in now. It wasn't perfect but we had a bitchen time lol. That party was very common for the time at least where I grew up. Unfortunately, my favorite John Cusack movie is not available on digital but it was his first staring role and it was called "The Sure Thing". He was only 17 at the time. More great movies of his, Better off dead, Serendipity, Hi Fidelity, Grosse Point Blank, Con Air (also starring Nick Cage) and a couple I'm sure I'm forgetting. Hope the move went well.
