🌼 This Week's Schedule! (+ exciting updates)

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a cozy, peaceful start to your week. I've got a really fun lineup ahead; plus some exciting updates I want to share with you!

First up- Battlestar Galactica officially won the latest shows poll! I'm really excited to get into this world for the first time. I'll be putting up a conversation post later today, so if you're a BSG fan or have any must-know tips for a first-time watcher, definitely keep an eye out for that and feel free to chime in. I'd love to hear your thoughts as we move into that series! I plan to start it next week.

Also, on the horizon- I'm gearing up to officially start my journey into Star Wars! I'll be starting around the last week of this month, but I'll keep you posted if I decide to move it up a week. Over the weekend, I'll be putting out another conversation post, where we can all openly discuss how to best watch the films (release order? chronological? machete?) and any must-know tips for a beginner going into the series. I'm super excited to finally watch these films!! I've heard SO much about them but never got into them myself. I did watch Mandalorian Season 1 when it was hyped up and loved it! But honestly didn't know what was going on most of the time or who anyone was lol.

📺 WandaVision - Episodes 5 & 6
Can't wait to keep going with this one. It's been a really crazy fun ride so far, and now that some of the mystery is starting to unfold, I'm even more excited to dive deeper into what's really going on in Westview.

🎟️ Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid | Movie Ticket
This one is another Movie Ticket pick, and it'll be my first official western watch! Unless we are counting Back to the Future Part III lol. I'm really looking forward to watching it for the first time! Great pick!!

🎟️ The Illusionist | Movie Ticket
Another awesome Movie Ticket pick, and it has Edward Norton in it 🔥 So you know I'm already all in here lol. Really looking forward to seeing where this story takes me. Based on the cover art alone, I'm intrigued.

🗡️ Gladiator | Poll Winner!
I've heard so many great things and tons of recommendations for this film. I'm finally about to see what all the hype is about! I noticed there is both a theatrical version and an extended edition - for this first watch, I'm going with the theatrical cut. Maybe I'll return to the extended version a year from now for a revisit! (I got this idea from when I was watching LoTR but decided to go straight into the deep dive with that one. Figured I'll give it a try this way now! Let me know your thoughts though, of course!
