Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid | Movie Ticket Pick | Full Reaction

Watching this film for the first time felt like settling into a story that already knew me. I loved the slow burn of it all. The way it let moments breathe, never rushing to get anywhere too fast. And the scenery was absolutely gorgeous! But the chemistry between Butch and Sundance? Effortless.

What I loved the most was how much it reminded me of my time in Red Dead Redemption 2. Dutch always talking about "one more plan", that creeping sense of the world moving on without them, the loyalty, the tension- it was all there! Even the moment they jump off the canyon into the water immediately brought me back to Arthur and Dutch, clinging to whatever escape they had left. It made the whole experience feel layered and kind of nostalgic, even though it was my very first time watching. This movie's got a quiet kind of magic, and I'm really glad I got to experience it!

Huge thank you to KJ Gould for making this happen! Sometimes the right movie finds you at the right time, and this definitely felt like one of those moments. I'm super grateful for this experience in my first Western!

Sorry I'm just now seeing/replying to this but thank you for these recommendations! I had 2 of them on my 'list' but the others I haven't heard of yet. Really appreciate it! I'm hopeful to get into more Westerns around here 🌡✨

Hi Kali. I see your interest in Westerns. Here's a short list to start with. - High Noon (1953) - The Big Country (1958) - Hang 'Em High (1968) - No Name on the Bullet (1959) - Rio Bravo (1959) - Winchester 73 (1950) - The Man from Laramie (1955) - The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) etc... The list goes on and on. But I thought we could start with the classics. The old films have an incomparable charm compared to the modern ones. Of course, I also love modern Westerns, especially with Clint Eastwood (I'm a really big fan of his). Of course, I have no idea if you've already seen some of them. It's just a suggestion. I wish you continued enjoyment on your journey through film history; it's very inspiring. Keep it up. Best wishes from Germany.

I finally had time to watch this tonight. What a perfect film for you! Fantastic reaction as always, Kali! 😁 This movie also birthed one of my favorite lines of dialog ever: "Morons! I've got morons on my team!" I've used that frequently over the years... πŸ˜‰
