Oh, wow. I did NOT expect to feel so deeply for the characters right out of the gate, but here I am, already emotionally invested in Adama, Roslin, Starbuck, and even Gaius in his chaotic genius way. The tone was absolutely haunting. There was so much weight in every decision, and the show did such an incredible job at capturing that sense of looming collapse through pure human emotion. And the Cylons being indistinguishable from humans? Oh boy. It raises soooo many philosophical and moral questions that I can already tell this series is going to explore deeply (and I'm totally here for it!).
I think what excites me the most is that this story has sooo much potential going forward. It feels like it's about identity, faith, trust, and what it really means to be human when everything around is crumbling. And I absolutely can't wait for Season 1 with you all. If the miniseries is any indication, I'm in for one heck of a journey!
