I was just about to comment on how Six was dressed all conservatively for the first time ever because of her and Baltar's heated discussion on God. But then that scene turned into one of the most psychologically surreal episodes so far. She was actually there. In the Cylon flesh. Pointing fingers at Baltar for betraying the entire human race.
From that moment on, everything shifted. And there was a moment when I found myself actually wondering, was that really Baltar in the evidence? Did he really do that? But then the so-called 'evidence' turns out doctored and Shelly 'Godfrey' is gone without a trace or explanation. And of course, right after Baltar's talk with God.
This episode plays beautifully with the idea that faith and proof aren't opposites. They are two sides of the same coin really. Baltar, who always insists on logic, is being tormented by the unfathomable And the more he tries to deny it, the deeper he goes.
I walked away from this one with more questions than answers, but somehow that feels right lol
