This episode was honestly hard to watch at times, but in a good way. It was intense emotionally, morally, and even visually. And the ending left me absolutely stunned. Seeing the shield used that way... and stained that way. I hope Steve isn't watching the news today...
Walker's descent has been building for some time now. Slowly, barely noticeable. But this moment it fully snapped. Watching him justify violence in the name of justice was absolutely disgusting. And yet tragically believable. He's trying to live up to something he was never fully prepared or ready for.
And Sam's empathy during all of this has surprised me. His conversation with Karli was such a real moment. She's not wrong about the problems, but her methods are dark. And Bucky.. You can still feel how fragile his recovery is, but he's fighting with everything he has to stay grounded as everything around him spirals. And I admire the heck out of him for that.
This episode asked some huge questions. About power, legacy, justice, and who gets to decide what is right. I can't wait to finish out the series with you all next week. This show has been incredibly deep.
