Added 2025-07-19 15:00:12 +0000 UTCHonestly, this one was SO much fun! It felt like an awesome mix of action, wonder, and nostalgia that made this journey very exciting. And I think because I know what to expect from these films now, I was just waaaaiting for the chaos to begin with a big grin on my face!
And I loved all the callbacks to the original Jurassic Park film! I caught myself getting goosebumps or smiling every time the theme song kicked in or they dropped a reference. The '94 Jeep Wrangler and that vintage "Jurassic Park" t-shirt that mustache found on eBay. Yesss. It was subtle in some places, bold in others, and I loved the homage it paid to the original film. It made the world feel connected and respectful of where it all started.
Also, let's talk about Chris Pratt! I had noooo clue he was in a Jurassic film. He played his usual cool, grounded self with just the right amount of charm and it fit the part really well! His scenes with the raptors had me fully invested. Now I can't wait to see where Jurassic World takes us next! See you all there!
