A victorian man's scrump runt diary entry

I woke up late this morning so my scrump runt drawing schedule is pushed back. I made up a Victorian diary entry by a male aristocrat to relieve my guilt.

Dear diary:

Staying at the cottage has been quite lovely for my temperament. Of course, I spend most of my days in the sun rooms drawing scrump runts. The ladies of the house have been gracing me with their presence, bringing me snacks and playing piano while I work. Today I must confess I woke up quite late! My mind was tossing all night with matters of the estate. Surely they are getting along quite alright without me. I must focus on these illustrations of the scrump runts which our king has requested himself and by proxy, god has requested. I will make this entry brief as the ladies are convincing me to take my sketch books to the beach and draw sea scrumps!
