Creator Blog #9 - On sponsorship
Added 2022-09-01 14:01:03 +0000 UTCIf you saw last weekβs video, you might have noticed that it was sponsored. That was Urban Caffeineβs first sponsorship deal! π
The courtship around a sponsorship deal involves vastly different skills from making YouTube videos. In the process, I had to take off the βcreatorβ hat and put on the βCEOβ and βsalespersonβ hat. Getting that sponsorship deal had some huge learning moments. These were some of the things I had to figure out:
- Writing a proposal
- Creating a non-disclosure agreement
- Presenting and negotiating
- Creating a collaboration system
- Writing a contract
- Setting up an invoice system
Thankfully the internet has covered all these topics. What would we do without the internet?
