A little question to improve the works you see!

Lately I've discovered that the program that I use for final contrast/brightness fixes of my works saves them in jpg instead of like I thought in png and I didn't notice while changing and renaming the files that the quality is not the original (つω`｡)
Would it be better to post my PNG in original quality without contrast edits or with contrast edits but JPG quality? I've attached the difference between original vs final edit variants as an example. The difference is mostly close up and on lines
I really want to provide you with better works every time, so it's important to me!

2024-09-12 19:27:06 +0000 UTCI think the JPEG vs PNG quality difference won’t affect much people since many surely catch your art through a smart phone (difference in file quality/details are less noticeable unless sitting through the file zooming in and out). The final edition gives it a nice touch, so I think that is better. On a side note, qiandilemma is a great tag lol

2024-09-12 19:18:09 +0000 UTCHonestly failed to see any differences in quality, also AFAIK JPEG at max quality not that different from PNG. So my vote goes for JPEG for now but only because of slightly better shadows.
