We talk about the relationship between the Paul brothers and prime time TV shows, what happens when you age out of content economy but can only think in terms of virality, and try to figure out what this show is actually trying to say, and to whom.
We also find some time to talk about Kemi Badenoch’s addiction to doom scrolling and mobile games, and Phoebe tells us a new theory about Hawk Tuah.

2025-05-15 15:13:51 +0000 UTCThe Youtuber retirement plan sounds a little like the idol business in Japan in that as you age out of it, if you're at the top, you kind of hang around but head behind the scenes and start fading out, and also in the sense that there's absolute tons of incredibly dubious shit going on back there
