As long as he's honest and keeps things above board, things will naturally play out for the best. I don't think he was seriously, honestly trying to flirt with or bang Amber's mom after knowing her for literally 30 seconds, but just being himself. Better he's himself now from the very beginning, instead of trying to hide his true personality for months or years. Amber can make her own choices and can leave him if she ever feels he's going too far or not being considerate enough. Adults are adults.
