Hey everybody!

Last week for me was kind of up and down. Was happy for most of the week. Have been working on my Lego city block for a while and really enjoying that and loving the way it looks. And my partner and I were planning on going out for our Valentine's Day date on Friday, which I was SUPER looking forward to.

But then Friday came around and our truck had problems and we couldn't drive to Dallas like we had planned. So I got really, really bummed and stressed out. I really want another vehicle, but can't quite afford one yet. Was looking at money and trying to figure out how I could manage one, and even went to a car dealership and test drove the car I wanted and went through their financing ordeal, just to find out I wasn't going to be able to get it. I have to figure out a way to make my truck limp on a little bit longer. So yeah, Friday kind of sucked.

Saturday though, my partner and I were able to borrow our roommates car and go to Dallas to have our date. We didn't get to do EVERYTHING that we had planned on doing, but we got to do a lot of it and it was enough. Was a really fun day.

And yesterday was great too. Worked a little in the morning, then worked on the truck and I believe got it to where it's at least driveable for a while, then played D&D and watched a bad movie (1993's Ticks, starring a baby Seth Green) with my friends. Had a great time.

And today is Valentine's Day. Partner and I already did our date, so today is mostly just going to be a normal day for us. We're planning on working until the afternoon, like normal. Then we're going to exchange gifts. We're going to put together this Lego Valentine Lovebirds set that is made for two people to put together at the same time, so that will be fun. Then we are going to cook something good, watch a movie, and then go to bed a little early, for likely obvious reasons.

I want you to all know that whether you are spending this Valentine's Day with somebody or not, you are loved and cared for. You are important and worthy of love. I love you and hope that you find a fun way to love yourself today.
