This last week... ugh.
My partner went to go see her family, so I was home by myself all week. Well, except for my roommate, but we don't hang out or anything. I'd just see her in the evenings for a bit. While partner was gone, the dogs were AWFUL and me trying to deal with them on my own is a 24 hour job. They just never settle down.
Then my partner came home on Sunday. That day, my partner's mom's girlfriend tested positive for COVID. They had been spending all day in malls, and going out every day, unmasked of course, because the pandemic is over, right? Anyways, my partner was feeling fine and we were like, "probably good that you're coming home now, so hopefully you don't get it."
Then my partner started feeling symptoms. And today she tested positive as well. Which means I probably have it too, honestly. Any time she gets sick, I do too. And we had a pretty big makeout session the night that she came back home, before she started showing symptoms. I haven't tested yet, but I'm feeling a little bit of the symptoms. I'm pretty annoyed by it.
Not much else going on here. Been playing Persona 4. Loved the first episode of She-Hulk. That's about it.

2022-08-23 02:23:22 +0000 UTCI'm sorry to hear y'all got sick, but to me the most shocking part of the above series of events was the apparent existence of multiple malls within range of each other? I haven't seen that in decades. Unless we're counting outdoor strip malls with a Target and Bed Bath Beyond, etc.
