Black Ops 2 Version - Weapons

We are currently deciding if we should update BO2 weapons with newer ones...let me explain.
So as we all know, Black ops 2 weapons are quite outdated in terms of textures etc. We "COULD" update this over time but as it currently stands this would be a huge process and we are currently looking into it.
However, what do 'you' the community think we should do? BO2 guns that are in newer games should we update them? AK74u from bo2 update to newer version and other guns? how would you feel about this? or do you want is completely 1 to 1 with black ops 2 weapons even if textures aren't updated to be better.
This will feel like a mix, but it'll just be the exact same weapons just with different anims and textures.

I know they aren’t done and idk what terms you are on with them, but have you considered working with getting Xela’s BO2 weapons from his Die Rise project? I think they decided to remake them from scratch so maybe you could help them do some so you both could use them?
