Monsters Over Pancakes Afterthoughts

It's been a while since I've been excited to release a game and plan out expansions for the future. I was hesitant about this one because of the dice conversion tables on each card and how making custom dice isn't a favorite pastime for everyone. I was also excited to work on a few handmade/hand assembled pieces to put in the store (something that's been a bit stale as of late).

Speaking of the Store...

It was fun putting things together for the store as it's been a bit stale lately. I keep flip flopping between stickers, toys, and game related things. I've been inspired to try some limited edition handmade/hand assembled items. Maybe more dice sets? Maybe some game pads?

In any case, I'm going to continue to strategize and plan on what to add to the store. Make "Shenbot Makes" more of a thing in the physical world, you know?

What's coming next month!

I'm working on a dungeon divers type of game where you have to assembled a dungeon and a pseudo-AI controlled Hero navigates it. It's your job to put monsters in its path to defeat it before it reaches the treasure (in which if it does, you lose). So far... it's terrible. But yeah, we'll see next month!

There's also a video game in the works!

For those who know me or have followed for a while, I also dabble in video game development. My young adulthood was very much rooted in the Flash space (anyone remember "Mochi Media" or "Mochi Ads"). I've always loved that boot up a game without having to download or install it.

This game is called "Thwak!" and I'm hoping to make it my "forever project". I always just wanted a game with a fairly simple game loop where I could just keep bolting things on to it. For example, maybe I want to create a fishing mini game. Maybe I wanted to create a farming mechanic. Anyway, I'm also tackling this one and hope to share updates every month.
