IMPORTANT: having issues playing audios on patreon lately? you're not alone!
Added 2023-02-18 19:18:35 +0000 UTCMARCH 12 2023 EDIT: I HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEM!!! Patreon on Google Chrome (but only Chrome) doesn't take kindly to .wav files, but .mp3 files work fine. I upload everything in .wav so that's a little annoying ; - ; but it works so I will do that from now on.
MARCH 5 2023 EDIT: Using Google Chrome appears to be the common cause of issues at the moment. I've just sent a ticket to Patreon and hopefully they will respond soon. In the meantime, I thank you all for your patience.
something's been up on patreon lately! a few people have reported issues playing me and other creators' audios. common issues have included:
- play button displaying as a 'repeat' button
- staying stuck on the 00:00 timestamp
- receiving an error message
SOLUTIONS THAT HAVE WORKED:
1. make sure you clear your cache + cookies
2. try a different web browser -> most effective solution
3. make sure your web browser/patreon app (if you're on mobile) is updated!
4. use the mobile app -> have never run into issues on here!!
5. don't hesitate to contact me if you're having further issues.
i highly apologize for the inconvenience, and i'm working on solutions atm to figure out what to do.
