So, I've talked a bit about this Lofi album from time to time over the last year. Didn't want to rush it since it's quite a personal concept album about all the thoughts and troubles I've gone through over the last 2-3 years trying to have a child and then losing it twice. So in a sense this album has been more therapy for me than anything else. Anyways, the Dreamt I Held you track is out, but the "I'm Alright" track comes out in 17 days. The mix is done however so I thought I'd share it with you early. Can add it to your spotify/apple etc playlists in 17 days, but for now here's the .wav for you. I've written a lot of songs and I'm still not sure how many I want to release, but the plan for now is to release something like 8-12 singles and when I've decided I wrap all the singles into an album that tells the full story.
You may ask why lofi and not metal or metal/synthwave or something I normally do, but I've actually been enjoying and experimenting a bit with lofi for a long time now. Just, I make metal songs way more often so not everyone may be aware of it. I feel like it's the ultimate relaxing retro type format to tell a story like this. Hope you like the songs.
