The latest development news.
I had to refine some of the locations during the creation of the scenes. These are the locations of the first act, but because of the change of perspective they had to be refined, which is practically the same as creating a new location. During the work I try to change all the objects (textures, mirroring, sometimes the shape of the object itself). Is it worth the time spent? Yes. I want to create an original, lively environment. Like the characters.
Speaking of them. Finalized the appearance of a couple of characters who will appear in the second act.
The animation test didn't go so well, you might say. I misconfigured the software I used for this. My mistake. But now I have a rough idea of how it should work. Everything comes with experience.
Some players left a comment about the mini-games in the first act. Many wished they were there. Well, I plan to add minigames in the second act. They were also planned in the first act, but at the last moment I decided against it, thinking that it might bore the player. Judging by your feedback, it's working out the other way around. And I'm very happy about that.
I try to devote all my free time to development. And I am very grateful to everyone who supports me, especially financially. Game development is not a cheap pleasure.
Have a good weekend, everyone. Have fun and don't get sick
