The latest development news...
I continue to do static renders and am smoothly getting to the last animations. There are a lot of static renders because this part of the story is long, and the scene itself involves several characters at once. In general, working with a certain number of characters in a frame (more than 2) always takes an order of magnitude more time, because making poses for each of them is a lot of work. Especially in animation. But when it all comes together, along with the code and processing, and the game starts to come to life, I get a sense of euphoria.
I've also been doing some art processing. This scene is going to need a lot of it. I can't tell you why, because then it would be a spoiler. But it's definitely a lot of work. Sometimes, you have to do several layers of the same shot for some effects. Maybe someone will say that it's not worth it and make things simpler. But then the question immediately arises - why? If you get carried away with simplification, the whole game may lose its zest and slip into passing garbage. And I can't do that. As I have already said many times, the quality of the game is the most important thing for me. So I'm not going to lower the bar.
There have also been questions about the Microsoft glitch. No, it didn't hurt me or affect my work in any way.
This month's winner is Gloria. I will post the art with her wallpaper at the beginning of August.
Ahead of me is a move to another city. Once again, a few days will fall out of my work schedule. But, I should be back at it by Wednesday. It's not an inconvenience. Just life circumstances.
Everyone have a productive weekend and smooth running!
