The latest development news...
It's business as usual - lots of rendering. Right now I'm nearing completion of the big Act 2 scene. This is the penultimate major scene. It's been a lot of work. I've had to redo textures to get the marble effect. When you play the game, you'll understand exactly what this is about.
There was a lot of rendering for the free movement event. It turned out to be not so easy because of the specifics of the environment.
It's the home of one of the characters in the game. It took a lot of work to make it logical and modern. I repeatedly used Blender to change the structure of objects, their shape. And the desired result was achieved.
I wanted to tackle the code, but never got around to it. Instead, I fiddled around with post-processing the frames for the free movement event. That's a lot of objects that need to be made interactive. Pretty boring stuff, but necessary. I think I'll have the post-processing done by tomorrow and get straight to the code to animate this movement.
While working on the current part of the story, I came to the conclusion that I need to do one more animation. It won't be large-scale action, so it won't take a lot of time. A couple hours, I think.
