Hello friends, I hope you are having a marvelous holiday time! Before we yeet ourselves headlong into 2020, I wanted to show you guys what your support allowed me to create in 2019. I couldn't have done any of this without your pledges and your positive energy!!

Pin-Up Jester

For Valentine's Day this year, I brought out the ol' pin-up art book and repeated my tradition of releasing some limited edition pin-up photos for the holiday! These were so much fun to make and remain some of my favorite Jester photos.

Crysta

My first new cosplay of 2019 was Crysta, from FernGully: The Last Rainforest! This movie was so formative for me growing up, and I felt ridiculously cute dressed as this little 80s fairy.

Goth Jester

Jester went goth in Critical Role, so I of course had to go goth! This was put together basically out of my closet, but has become one of my most popular Jester looks. Without your support here on Patreon, I couldn't possibly have the time and resources to paint myself blue as often as I did this year, haha!

Emerald City Comic Con

A rogue snowstorm ended up changing the course of my year. Because of the work you've allowed me to make, Wyrmwood brought me to ECCC (a connection that has led to another convention visit and a music video so far!)

Little Sapphire's Lullaby

Your patronage allowed me to release my second ever original song, this time a melancholy lullaby for young Jester. This video featured Inca, my friend's niece, as the cutest leetle blue tiefling that any of us have ever seen!

Vox Machina Girls

I teamed up with goingpostale and Laura of JessoLaurus Rex for a fun group makeup test of the girls of Vox Machina from Critical Role! This little experiment ultimately led to Laura creating a full Vex'ahlia costume and me getting started on a full Pike costume (which is still in the works!)

Sabrina

I got a little witchy with a brand new costume from the Netflix Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series! I also got to experiment with a fun, tongue-in-cheek makeup video for this look. Praise Satan!

Jenny of Oldstones

The conclusion of Game of Thrones came with a beautiful folk ballad, which I was able to cover in record time thanks to your support! This music video remains one of my all-time favorite creations (despite the mess that was Game of Thrones season 8!)

Cosplay Realm Magazine

I was on my first magazine cover this year!! Cosplay Realm Magazine featured me in their D&D issue with a full interview inside. (You can bet my mom bought multiple copies of the magazine, haha!)

The Mighty Nein

I finally completed the group Mighty Nein photoshoot I'd been working on putting together for so many months! This was shot by Anne Barhyte at Denver Pop Culture Con.

Centaur of Attention

With your help and the help of all the Kickstarter backers, Hannah Alexander and I were able to finally bring to fruition an art and design book that we've been planning for literal years! Centaur of Attention is nearly complete, with rewards scheduled to ship in January.

Keyleth: Vox Machina Origins

I read the Vox Machina: Origins comic and immediately fell in love with Keyleth's simple, comfortable costume design! Thanks to your pledges, I was able to jump on that inspiration quickly and put this together to debut at GenCon.

50k YouTube Subscribers

YouTube is a challenging platform to find footing on, but thanks to your ongoing support over the years, which enabled me to start creating videos more regularly, I finally found mine! In August, I hit 50,000 YouTube subscribers and you guys helped me write this hilariously inappropriate video, which is now the most popular video on my channel!!

DragonCon 2019

DragonCon is one of the only cons that I go to every year for fun, rather than for convention guesting work — so I try to bring my A-game in terms of costumes so that my vacation also results in some great new content! 2019 DragonCon brought costumes from Midsommar, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Centaur of Attention Photoshoot

After hitting a zillion stretch goals for the Centaur of Attention Kickstarter, we got to put together a fun shoot with an entire herd of centaurs! You can check out the whole shoot here.

Mer-Ginny

You all enabled one of my lifelong childhood dreams to come true: I became a mermaid! Unfortunately it was exactly the wrong time of year to go swimming, but you can expect a ton of fun mermaid content as soon as Colorado warms up!

Jester's Mom

You helped me create another music video, this time a fun parody of "Stacy's Mom" featuring Jesse and Laura of JessoLaurus Rex! This one quickly became a new favorite for Patrons and followers alike: Jester's Mom.

Norway

I had the privilege of guesting at a convention all the way in Norway, and while I was there, I teamed up with Starbit, Maker and Muse, and Woodsmoke and Words for a Witcher shoot on the banks of a real Norwegian fjord!

Scarecrow Fangs

A sponsorships from Scarecrow Fangs allowed me to makeup test three different ladies of Critical Role: Nott, the Ruby of the Sea, and Calianna!

The Lavorre Family

Guess who painted herself blue again? For Halloween this year, I teamed up with Laura of JessoLaurus Rex for an Addams Family/Critical Role mashup photoshoot. Thank you all for sticking with me as I reprise Jester in photoshoot after photoshoot — I fell so deeply in love with this little sapphire, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your steadfast support as I create so much Jester-themed content!

Nurse Joy

Your pledges funded another new costume, this time Nurse Joy from Pokémon! I've wanted to create a Nurse Joy costume for so long, and the 2020 calendar was the perfect excuse.

Aisling

If you went back in time and told teenage Ginny that thousands of people on the internet would be clamoring to learn more about my original character, I would've died of happiness! It's been mindblowing to get such a warm reception for Aisling, my D&D character, whom I introduced in this video.

2020 Calendar

The end of the year means another cosplay pin-up calendar! With help from you guys in livestreams and the Discord, I came up with a mixed-genre concept for this year's calendar and created the 2020 Cosplay Pin-Up Special (still available for purchase if you missed it!)

Jester's Tattoo

Jester got a tattoo, which means... yep, blue again! This little portrait shoot reminded me that I still have new, creative takes on Jester up my sleeves, even after a full year of cosplaying her.

All I Want For Christmas

For this year's annual Christmas music video, I teamed up with Wyrmwood and created a D&D themed parody of Mariah Carey's holiday hit! Despite Wyrmwood's generosity in providing the cinematography, editing, location, and props for this video, I still had to invest in airfare, instrumental track, and mixing/mastering the song — which I couldn't have done without your pledges!

100k YouTube Subscribers

That's right, we hit 50k in August and 100k in December! That means because of the videos that your pledges allowed me to make, the Ginny Di subscriber base doubled in just five months. Everyone loved the D&D Pick-up Lines video so much, I requested your help in the writer's room again for a new video, this time a "Vicious Mockery" video with 100 different D&D inspired insults.

Over the course of this year on Patreon, we've held 22 Patron-exclusive livestreams, met up at conventions across the planet, successfully navigated a reward tier update, shared gifts in our first Secret Santa exchange, and brought 184 new Patrons into our ranks!

I couldn't be more grateful for your ongoing support and the beautiful, loving, uplifting community that you guys have helped me build here. I can't wait to see what 2020 brings!
