LOVE this performance! For a good laugh...in one of BTS's appearances on Jimmy Fallon's show, they did a Fortnite dance challenge with Jimmy. I was laughing so hard, I was crying.

2024-04-18 14:57:12 +0000 UTCI probably watched this 50 times before I heard a reactor mention the dancers walking up beside JK in his solo part. I had NEVER noticed them before because I was so laser focused in JK. 😂 That happened during his STNY performances, too. People would point out something a background dancer did and I had never noticed them. I can’t just blame JK. I also didn’t notice the people with the fans and harps in their Dionysus MMA performance. I guess I am watching them so intently that the rest is a blur to me. LOK

2024-04-18 14:54:13 +0000 UTCMy FAVORITE.. This was such a huge deal at the time, omg we were so shocked and proud. The dance company is called the Lab and BTS usually always use them when performing in the US. Hobi also used them for Lollapalooza & his Chicken Noodle Soup video.. Not sure if Yoongi's dancers for his US tour dates were from the Lab, but Jimin used Lab dancers for his Fallon appearance I believe.. But JK did not, he used specific professional dancers that are extremely famous on their own that he admired & followed for a long time. Anyways, Lab dancers and BTS have a strong relationship. And Sienna (the main choreographer for this song & a few others) is part of the Lab as well. They performed with them on their Permission to Dance tour dates and at the end of the last show the whole crew did a deep bow to BTS & ARMY on stage... Jimin freaked out (like he was so touched but felt like he owed them just as much respect if not more) and ran over and deep bowed to them and then hugged them all. Jimin & JK were seen backstage in Lab merch t-shirts, too. So sweet.

There are lot of good performances on The tonight show, here's the list - - Idol - They've performed it twice, one in 2018 and one in 2020, Performance from 2020 is wayy better, they wear traditional clothes for this one - Home - This song doesn't have an MV but it's also one of the fandom favorites, you can watch the lyrics vid on yt and react to the performance here - Mikrokosmos - Black Swan - Permission to Dance - Butter (Grammy's and this Fallon's performance of Butter are a must watch), ofcourse after you're ready lol
