Introducing: Annual Memberships!
Added 2021-04-21 16:00:06 +0000 UTCI'm so excited to announce that I've finally gotten access to a new Patreon feature: Annual Memberships! This basically just means that if you pledge for a full year at once, you get a discount. It's a great way to save some money if you're planning on being here long-term.
New folks can pledge annually, and current Patrons can switch their membership to an annual one if they like! Just visit your Manage Memberships page and click "edit" next to your pledge.
I think the one notable downside of an annual membership is that you can't easily switch between tiers if you want, say, the rewards from a specific tier for a limited time. But if you're very solid on which tier you'd like to be in, it's a great option!

Hi Ginny. This might sound weird but If we choose a membership can we donate more? So I picked the $5 level but am sending $6. I would do an annual $50 but would send a little more but I can’t go to the next higher tier because I can’t afford that. :) thanks.

The consistency of a pledge that I know will not get deleted or changed, and up-front cash that allows me to make certain long-term investments like equipment that can then be used for the whole year instead of requiring me to save for it, for example. I want you all to make your decisions based on what's best for you! I wouldn't have introduced annuals if I didn't feel they were beneficial to me, too — I want you guys to have options to choose the plan that makes Patronage most convenient!
