Playa de los Muertos pt. 1
Added 2021-07-17 21:45:26 +0000 UTCI have... I think four total photosets coming at you from my trip to Sayulita? Here's the first! This beach is called Playa de los Muertos (beach of the dead) because it's right by a cemetery! It seemed like the perfect location for a deadly mermaid — plus, get a load of this BIG FLAT ROCK! What a perfect mermaid-perching rock!
I may have gone a little overboard with capturing the surf splashing at a high shutter speed, but... damn, it looks so cool.

Finfolk released bikinis to match their tail designs, so I went ahead and got the one that matched my tail just in case I needed a quick-and-easy top that matched it. It doesn't necessarily look "natural," but since I ended up really disliking the top I made for this costume, I was relieved to have a back-up option!

2021-07-18 09:06:53 +0000 UTCIt was pretty easy, honestly, we just used continuous shot and a very quick shutter speed and Josh held down the photo button as a wave approached! It meant we had about 20 photos for every ONE splash photo, but camera card space is a small price to pay!
