"The Wave-Soaked Maiden" is wrapped!
Added 2021-08-23 15:35:49 +0000 UTCYesterday we filmed the final set for "The Wave-Soaked Maiden," the music video I'm releasing on Wednesday to launch my album! Since this song is a sea shanty, I wanted to make sure we had a good, warm-toned, rowdy tavern scene to carry the energy of the video.
I can't believe how gorgeous this footage turned out, thanks mostly to our genius cinematographer Nate, the folks at Drekar Meadery who let us use their space (and drink their delicious mead!! TAKE NOTE, Colorado Springs locals!!), and all the wonderful friends who showed up in their nautical best to sing along and raise their tankards to mermaid murder.
Now I have two days to somehow cut three days of breathtaking footage into a three-minute music video, so excuse me while I disappear! 😅
