Don't leave your D&D character's personality at level 1

This is my LAST full-length video of the year! And holy crap, it was... so hard. This wasn't even a difficult or complicated video, but for some reason my executive dysfunction was off the ding dang charts. Honestly, I think I've just been really burnt out lately, and taking a break over the holidays can't come soon enough.

Anyway! Learn all about how to roleplay character growth here.

Don't leave your D&D character's personality at level 1

I've only played one character above level 4 (currently level 10) so I've only been able to look at implementing this stuff on one real occasion. Young, immature, impulsive character who starts some bad ideas but isn't dumb in the eecution so it usually works. Zoomy li'l dragonborn monk. But I'm super excited to hit a situation where my character drops their mask and people see the effects things have taken on them. Some of the trauma of their story is sitting just below the surface (dropped some hints and at least one of the other players has noticed it) but keeps the endlessly positive attitude because why deal with the problems when denial exists as a concepy. The DM is into this as well, and I think they're kinda ramping up to it a bit. Also, I love interwoven 2-tone hair, and while the colour is fantastic, the darker strands starting to reach through looks great imo :)
