PDF: Underwater Plunder
Added 2023-01-05 18:00:03 +0000 UTCWhen battling enemies like Undertow and her feral merfolk, it can be challenging to come up with compelling loot — they don't wear armor or carry items, they don't really use weapons, and anything you might find in their vicinity is gonna have to be underwater! So for this one, Joe Nuzzo and I created a collection of fun items that could reasonably be found underwater, such as in a cave network, on the person of a merfolk, in a shipwreck, or even washed up on a beach or hauled up from below in a net.

My Ghosts of Saltmarsh party just completed Danger at Dunwater, and unbeknownst to them, have met Undertow. (Can't elaborate without spoilers. But they've given her ideas that will likely make her start to take a more active role as an aspiring BBEG in the campaign.) And this loot will DEFINITELY come in handy for the foreseeable future.
