Join us for the February Livestream!

Hey friends, it's 20 minutes 'til livestream time! We'll discuss recent projects, upcoming projects, and your questions.

Make sure to click through to YouTube to participate, since I won't be checking comments here on Patreon during the stream.

If you missed it, you can watch it back at this same link, or watch the morning's stream at this link. (Both cover the same basic topics, but each will be a little different based on what came up in chat!)

Re: journalism/OGL stuff not being my "brand," I might agree with you if it weren't for the first OGL video I did getting nearly 300k views. It was the comparison in views between those two videos (as well as the comparison of OGL video vs. dedicated sponsored video, which normally don't perform as well as a standard video) that led me to believe people were over the topic.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch this livestream, so here's my comments on the topics :) Firstly, I liked your hair better before, but I STILL like it now. The two styles are like different songs on your Songs To Drown Sailors To album. I have my favourites but they are ALL great :) Secondly, Laura Bailey may argue that her hubby actually has the world's biggest head :p (there is an episode of Talks where he's wearing a cap backwards on the LAST clip). Also, I thought you were respectful in the interview. People are possibly confusing respectful for soft. But I didn't feel you were soft. You were fair, you asked questions that were well thought out and I am grateful you did that interview :) I think the Wyrmwood video did better is because it's more your brand. You've always been industry-aware, but never really been an industry-journalist. Nothing wrong with either stance, but your content is a lot happier and more wholesome. The fact that you weighed in on the OGL should suggest to the audience the gravity of what was happening, but the Wyrmwood was much more Ginny Di :) I had other channels I was looking at first for the OGL news, I would definitely hit up yours first for a Wyrmwood table and I'm super-bummed that I have neither the money nor space to get one <3 I completely agree that Kyle Brink has a very approachable persona. I can't state whether or not this is his attitude or a mask, but he is approachable. I watch 3 or 4 interviews, and throughout all of them I found myself feeling he was genuine, within the bubble of what was asked and what was answered. But after each interview, as I took the scope wider to include all of the last couple of months, I found myself feeling less approachable to him, and more feeling like he was feeding PR BS. Unfortunately for him (and WotC as far as my opinion goes) these issues don't exist in a bubble, and when considered in full-scope his answers didn't paint WotC in a positive light (at least in my opinion). No chance GDCU wouldn't outperform MCU. Just saiyan. Promise not to do stupid long comments on every livestream I missed. This one just had a lot in it. You're awesome :)
