The Untamed Emporium — Shop
Added 2023-08-14 19:09:53 +0000 UTCI don't know if this is just my home game or if other tables are like this... but we're totally obsessed with pet shops, and always forcing our poor DM to invent cool magical pets for us. So I figured I'd pay it forward for June (oof...) with a magical pet shop!
This PDF includes a description of the shop and shopkeeper, a few suggestions for different ways that DMs can incorporate pets into their games depending on their table's needs and interests, and of course, a selection of magical pets (from the useful to the ridiculous, and everything in between) with suggested stat blocks and prices.

I'm making extensive use of Stibbles Codex of Companions, so I bet this will also find a lot of use for me, thanks :D also pets are the only "DM-PCs" I actively use, usually just as a way to give warnings to the PCs as in "Sparks - the wild magic barbarian/sorcerers pet rat - grabs a nut out of your pouch, sits down in front of the ruin you are currently entering and apparently refuses to come along"
