Added 2024-02-25 18:00:07 +0000 UTCThis is the second iteration of "third eye" makeup for me — still a lot of kinks to work out, honestly, but I don't hate this one! Considering that I'm not using a custom prosthetic or anything (just a painted rhinestone, some hot glue, and some scar wax) I feel like it came out pretty well.
If I ever do this again, though, I'm just gonna order a silicone prosthetic online 😂 The only reason I went so DIY on this is that I didn't have time for something to ship!
Anyway, this character is flavor for this week's video. Stay tuned to learn who she is!

2024-02-29 18:53:04 +0000 UTCI chose the placement for the eye in order to a) avoid being too close to the eyebrows, where there's the most movement, which weakens the adhesive and creates cracks, and b) leave enough room for the slope of the lower edge of the eye prosthetic.

2024-02-29 18:23:52 +0000 UTCExcellent job on the eye! I feel the overall effect might be slightly enhanced next time if you lower the eye a bit, shooting for an equal distance between all three eyes (but I bet that might be way more finicky than I think and possibly not worth the effort.)
