Quick Carbonation Parts List

Here is the list of parts for the rapid carbonation setup. All of the parts are in this list are good for 90 psi of pressure. If you are only pressurizing to 30 or 40 psi, you can use a Blichmann Quickcarb device, it does an okay job at low pressure. The setup I have here will work better for higher volumes of water or higher pressures.

I will try to get someone to do a sketch of the setup, but I have roughly grouped the parts below into the sections they will be used. Some plumbing or homebrewing experience is helpful, but not necessary to put it together.

Important Notes

I have linked to my supplier(s) for the equipment and some only ship inside Canada. Some companies still have distribution territories for specific products or cross-border shipping can be a pain. But all these parts are standard stuff for any homebrew supply store, the only odd items are the pump, pressure reducer and the lab stand and clamp(s).

Where there is a part number (Kegland/Duotight items) I have listed it, and you should be able to search your preferred supplier, or a search engine, using these numbers.

ID means inner diameter and OD means outer diameter. Stick to 8mm (5/16") Duotight parts for convenience. 

Some parts, like the pump, will be different, so make sure to check the connections on the pump before ordering all the parts. Some pumps come with metric parts (threads) and can be challenging to source fittings. If you can, get barbed fittings on the pump.

Other than the exact setup below, I can't guarantee all of the parts will work together if you order different items like the pump or pressure reducer.

Make sure your pressure release value on the keg is higher than the pressure you intend to carbonate at.

Always be careful when using a pressurized system, especially when disassembling. When in doubt: TURN OFF THE CO2 and VENT THE KEG USING THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE.
