I just finished creating a brief for the background artist.
Added 2024-12-06 20:26:31 +0000 UTCAfter finishing the animatic for the opening intro, I spent three days writing briefs for the scenes to hand over to our talented background artist. I never imagined that writing briefs for others could be this exhausting, but I’m willing to endure it to ensure the quality of the project.
My animation work and the BG artist’s scene illustrations will proceed simultaneously. This project is something I’ve planned meticulously to make sure it’s completed as quickly as possible.
Since this project is SFW, I’m considering creating a new YouTube channel, perhaps called PinkShonenAnim. The channel will focus primarily on uploading timelapse videos of me animating. I want to show viewers that I’m consistently making progress and working on my craft. Of course, I won’t show everything I create on YouTube—I’ll keep exclusive content reserved for supporters like you.
To be honest, I’m a bit worried about the workload. Many of my followers might think I’ve stopped working altogether. But what can I do? Animation takes time. I hope that the PinkShonenAnim channel will help attract new followers. Once the opening intro is done, I can’t wait to dive straight into creating the pilot episode!

This will not only help folks get to your channel to watch your show, but also keep other folks from taking the name of your show, throwing it around and trying to benefit off of your work.

And in my honest opinion, if people really think you aren't working, they don't understand that this is a VERY LENGTHY PROCESS. It takes time, hours of planning, hours upon hours of drawing, drafts and redrafts, and so on. You take your time, take your breaks, take time off to relax and recharge yourself because you can burn yourself out from not stopping. You have my support and you have everyone else support here.
