Early Acces: Outlander season 2 (Finale) episode 13 'Dragonfly in Amber' REACTION

Yes it certainly was! Its perfectly fine to watch shows with a little bit of emotions in it 😉 but it was surprising indeed. It sucks that Dougal is dead but i didnt really miss him either when they were in France so its fine i guess lol but what a contradicting man that was. Oh really ? I really liked this transition into episode 1 tho i was quite like.... what ? Did Frank die ? Well damn! Thanks for the explenation of the timeline. It explains it quite well, thanks! As i know now, Geillis knows how to enter the stones purposly so im curious how that will work for Claire in the future when she goes back to real world and needs to go back trough the stones again. Thanks for all the worthy info! Much appreciated!

I waa like, he aint dead right. They got so much more seasons to come, its not just gonna be Claire alone lol. On the other hand i was like, but how should Jamie survive such a battle. But that man must defenitly have the luck of the Irish 😅 cant wait for more 🙂

Quite the finale wasn't it? A few surprises, but you predicted pretty well too. If you're hoping the emotional rollercoaster is over, you're watching the wrong show though LOL. With Jamie and Dougal it was always heading for a showdown between them and in the book Dougal actually says something similar to Jamie as his last words. Incidentally, book 2 "Dragonfly in Amber" actually starts with Claire and Brianna arriving at the manse in 1968 but the producers felt that was too much of a shock for viewers for the first episode, so they started it with Claire returning in 1948. Oh there's a thing, about the timeline. I can't say I can explain it exactly, but remember, Claire left in 1945, went back 202 years to 1743, why 202? who knows LOL, but she was gone for 3 years to 1746 and when she returned it was 1948, so that means that time kept moving, i.e. if she's been back in the 20th century for 20 years, 20 years has moved on in the past. There is a problem with all this though, and that's Geillis, she left in 1968 and clearly must have gone back further that 202 years, because she was already there for some time when Claire arrived in 1743, so it's anyone guess at the moment how it all works. Another little piece of trivia, there was a real person called Geillis Duncan, she lived in the 1590's and was accused, tried and executed for being a witch. The author Diana Gabaldon often borrows real names and real situations (not just the historically important stuff), which I'll remind you about after ep 302 ;-) Keep Enjoying.

Great time watching you believing Jamie is dead :) and there are seasons 5 and 6 signed. They started shooting season 5 in march.
