Added 2024-04-01 00:33:23 +0000 UTCSo I have made a decision for this upcoming week. I originally intended to have MH ready to launch the alpha when I released chapter 10 of Her Fall. But with all of the positive attention toward MH I moved it up and have been rushing to get the alpha ready to release. But by doing that I have pushed aside a game that a lot of people do enjoy.
So because of that, I have made the official release schedule for games going forward.
April 7th - Her Fall (Chapter 8)
April 21st - MH Alpha Release. - Will not have Audio - Contains Story parts 1-5
May 5th - Her Fall (Chapter 9)
May 20th - MH v0.2 Release - Update will add Audio to Scenes, And adding new positions to scenes, as well as story parts 6-10
I apologize if this decision upsets some people. I also feel like more people will be happy than the ones that are upset, because now you have an actual release date for the alpha of the game. As well as the fans of Her Fall have a release date for the new chapters of that.
If you want Her Fall to continue past Chapter 10, you really need to make your voices heard. I have had a few comments saying they enjoyed the game but I have had far more comments saying they hated Her Fall. Which is why I was pushing it to the side. But as dev of my word, I said in the beginning I would release 10 Chapters and I intend to do that at a minimum. Ideally I would like to continue both games for awhile. Because I do enjoy the simpler development style that I get with Her Fall. It's a nice break from the mountains of coding and all the variations for renders and animations that I have to do with MH. But Her Fall will only continue past Chapter 10 if people actually want to see it.
