Rick, the turnout this time included a lot of young people. But I don't know how smart they are. Education in this country is terrible. And Republicans are making it worse by defunding public schools, trashing the curriculum and burning books. They can afford to send their kids to private schools, so they don't care that the average reading level in the United States is 7th grade level. They want to keep people stupid so that they believe the bullshit they shovel. But the youngsters did vote for democracy, this time, so I guess there is some hope.
