Dan.... My mom came in the room as I was listening to your fake Elvis story and she said "Come on...is that true?!?!" lmao! She seriously believed it for a moment there lol!

Ashley

Please make the outrageous story videos! ❤️❤️

Dennis Miller was funny at one time. In the 80's and 90's. Then he went ape shit Conservative. Which is fine, but he wasn't funny any longer.

Same here Abby, not a fan of ADR at all. So I'll be just as happy if those 4 last episodes don't get released. But I do understand completely why Dan is done with ADR, and why it's best to just release them and be done with it once and for all.

Stefan (SwedishChef1977)

Get the concert tickets, Dan (not the $15K tickets). Yo'll make the money back.

Shawn

This might be blasphemous here, but I'm not a fan of ADR, watched it all and didn't hate it, just not for me. I really like Brennen and Jake so I hope you can work with them on something else in the future. As for a new co-host, the ones I think have worked best (Sextia N'eight & Dillon) have been a bit more pop culture aware, can banter back and play along with a bit.

Abby

Weird… My husband and I were just talking about the My Way killings on Friday, then your podcast opens with that song. What’s going on? Lol

OMG...What a wonderful life story! Perfect circle when you reconnected with your cousins and uncle. It's so true that some places aren't as "caught up" as others because of lack of tech... hell even electricity to run the tech. I've been through WV on my way home from Virginia Beach/Norfolk. It's such a beautiful part of the country.

Loved this episode 💜 Your experience with West Virginia sounds like mine. Grew up in Southern California. Dad was from a hollar who's closest city is Morgantown. He met my Mom while in California with the Marines. He never felt racist but was taught to fear outsiders. Serving in the Marines quickly made him realize how dumb that idea was. "Colored" people were no different to him. As for "the gays"....well what a shock. They were fine people too. He loved hanging out with my gay cousin and friends on the California side of the family. He even invited my Uncle to visit when his Mom and some siblings flew out to California to finally meet my Mom and her family. Well his kin didn't like "the gay" or Dad's "yella" mixed Asian BFF. The fact that gay and the yellow people were allowed to attend my parents church and were welcomed blew thier mind even more. Sadly my Dad died right after my 4th birthday. My Dad's Mom had to pay 2 siblings to attend his service. Not pay for thier flights but pay for them to attend the mixed dangerous hellscape California was. She went to her grave blaming his death on outside influences he was exposed to in California. Nevermind the fact he died from a genetic heart defect. Needless to say I grew up not knowing his family. Thanks to social media my cousins reached out and basically said our parents generation is narrow-minded but we aren't. Long story short I eventually flew out to meet them with my Eurasian British husband and Eurasian 4 year old daughter. Not only did I bond with the cousins but my Dad's twin brother and I got close. He apologized for never being brave enough and narrow-minded for most of his life etc. When he took us through all the family hollers and spots important to the family it was like visiting another world. People were fascinated by my husband's accent and my yella daughter's blue eyes. She inherited mine and my dad's blue eyes. We never felt persecuted or judged by the people we met. It truly was ignorance and lack of exposure to the outside world. Hell most the hollers had only gotten connected to electricity in the early 2000s. Most didn't have access to any internet. Life was lived working in small family coal mines. You made it big if you went to work for a big coal company. Leave the state? Go to college? Travel to another country? That's just crazy. It is such a beautiful part of the world. Full of so much history. It's sad seeing all the abandoned property. The people have fallen in the cracks of the Appalachian Economic Plan (AEP) even though they make up the poorest and isolated part of the population the AEP covers. Since narcotics moved in it's only gotten worse.

I’m amazed you haven’t had Adam The Woo on the podcast at this point!! I hope you do soon!!! Xxxxx

Robin Bell

Bill Maher is definitely becoming more conservative. He mostly complains about young people.

Nolan Schenburn

Please have Adam The Woo on the podcast!
