Sad to see buildings you remember go, but I'm glad you shared this with us. I love to see these videos. They make me feel like I'm actually there with you.

2023-05-02 04:12:22 +0000 UTCYou’re absolutely right. I found two Picasso woodblock prints at a thrift store 12 years ago. (I still have them.) I paid $10 for the pair. I would tell you how much they’re worth but you wouldn’t believe me. Haha. I love them so much. Held on to them through some really tough times. I’ll keep them forever hopefully.

2023-05-01 17:17:22 +0000 UTCI really liked this vlog, and how it takes us all over. Thrifting isn’t what it used to be, but sometimes you can find some rare gems. I found a Georgia O’Keefe print that was on a piece of tile that was from the museum in NM, and a vintage 80’s Samsonite briefcase in mint condition with a lady’s business card still inside it. Most of the time, I find nothing but crap. Sad to see those old buildings being neglected and demolished too. Cities lose their charm when they don’t preserve old buildings. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!

2023-05-01 15:23:31 +0000 UTCUplands mansion is fascinating. The exterior, although boarded up, still looks to be in decent shape. You can see the home's grandeur and imagine the wealthy folks who once lived there. But inside, it's totally derelict and reflects the sad state of the poverty and hopelessness of the surrounding area.

2023-05-01 04:33:57 +0000 UTCAll the good stuff is on eBay. Thrift stores will never be the same. Take it from somebody who eBayed for 20 years. I had to stop for a lot of reasons, but one of the main factors is that these stores are much more sophisticated at picking through everything good before they flush the turds out on the sales floor.
