The Only Time I Was Ever Scared Visiting Gettysburg

Maybe what happens in this video is pure coincidence? My friend Matt and I were in Rose Woods which is an area of the Gettysburg Battlefield between Triangular Field and the Wheatfield. These areas saw the worst of the battle with the highest amounts of bloodshed and casualties. The little stream we’re standing above ran red with blood after the battle had ended. Of course these are supposedly the most haunted areas of the battlefield. This was definitely a weird experience. You have my word...nothing was faked here. This is completely legit. Enjoy!

I remember it well sent a screenshot to your Insta a year ago where the stone came up from the water right to left. Cool capture even on a video recorder that can't handle lowlight it was still clear

Matt Thomas

Ohhhh, ok. I watched it again.

Gina Patterson Livengood

the water in the creek was only a couple inches deep. you can actually see the second rock come down in the footage. go back and watch.

Dan Bell

Is there something maybe an animal sloshing around, a beaver slamming its tail? It did sound like a rock, but sincerely, could a beaver be protecting babies?

Gina Patterson Livengood

Thanks yes in slow mo you can see it fall down !

Jack Ladny

When did you go to PA ? I wish I could be there with you guys. That would be so cool.

C. Wesley Northrup

This place is definitely haunted. I too have been pelted with rocks or as I called them back then pebbles. I remember trying to find out who was throwing them for like 20 minutes before leaving. Nobody believes me. Now this video kinda proves it.

Jim Faust

Catching up, keeping me distracted from life. ❤️

Tina

When was this dan?

Michael Rose aka HighrangeMike

I was going to say! Lol that is for sure a Bigfoot

Katherine Vilaire

You can see the rock or object flying through the air that was crazy!

Jesse Hussky

No worries Dan, it was probably just a Sasquatch. They are known for throwing rocks at people. To some they are even known as "rock apes".

Gio Persico

Definitely something was throwing rocks at you guys. Creepy, I love it!

JoJo Dancer

I saw the branch fall and it was too small to make the sound it did.

Andrew Marcel Madsen

I absolutely love anything paranormal and altho what you experienced certainly could be deemed paranormal, who really knows, right? Great catch tho! Thanks for sharing!!

Zelda

My husband says it sound like fish jumping in the water

Arizona Freedom

Definitely had the sound of rocks hitting water. May have been a human screwing with you two. Teenagers.

sgmd

What time of year was it? Could be that you were near a Black Walnut or Butternut tree that was dropping nuts. They're common trees in old farmsteads and butternuts especially can be baseball sized.

Sean Sweeney

Ummm. What the shit?!

SwimFreeLethargicDog

I know “spooky” or ghost- related things aren’t your favorite. But for me, I absolutely love it when you dip your toe into the paranormal.

Allen Taylor

I remember this! It's really interesting. The second drop especially -- it seems like it's responding to you. Really intriguing, but I wonder if there are people who hang out in the woods and like to screw with ghost hunters? Every possible explanation here is just strange. I put this up there with the abandoned West Virginia miner's house video as some of your best, and most compelling, paranormal stuff. Really cool to see it again!

Jim

Gun cock

Astro Frenza

Hey Scott. I was scared shitless. Hahaha.

Dan Bell

You’re right. It’s definitely not a branch or stick. It’s a rock or something. You can see how forcefully it comes down. I’m glad it didn’t hit on of us on the head. Was that deliberate as not to hurt us?

Dan Bell

terrifying.

Scott Michaels

Yes. That video was actually taken just about 100 yards from where we are in this video. It was at the bottom of Triangular Field before the new super had all the woods taken out....to bring the field back to what it looked like during the battle. I mean I’ve definitely had some strange experiences here but nothing comes close to this. I’ve heard everything from ghosts to bigfoot to acorns. I want to be rational but this shit is crazy.

Dan Bell

The object is coming from above at 4:20. If you guys play it in slowmo it's easier to catch. I think it's something OTHER than a branch like, a rock or other dense and "smaller" object. Seems to travel pretty straight and with force, rather than "falling" from high up. Not sure what the H that was but, it looked like a rock being hurled into the pond from here. Yikers!! 8/ P.s I'm scared. lol

Indigo

Oh yeah, I remember this- its TERRIFYING. But I've got to watch this again, like all good videos <3

Chris Green

This video really is crazy

Brook Shaffer

I remember the eerie video of the figures moving from one direction to the next over and over as far as I recall it's probably the only 'legit' footage ever captured.
