This reminds me of an old narcissistic friend who would stalk me at work and hooked up with a guy friend of mine. It took me a very long time to move on and she utterly destroyed me. So it's completely understandable to feel the way you're feeling. Those kinds of friends suck your energy, try to make you look crazy, and leave you feeling so soulless and broken.

Any time someone in the comments mentions his drunk driving live stream where he threatened to show up at your house, Rick deletes their comment. They think he's the victim because he lies to them, and they don't know what really happened.

For a time you did just that. Just ignore it. Not worth your time. Do your amazing art and ignore them. There is a possibility those people came to your door because they were doing what Rick wanted them to do, in his drunken video, a few weeks ago. I am not sure how stalking charges are considered, in Maryland, but it is something I think might need to be brought to law enforcements attention. When you talked about the people coming to your door, with flowers, it reminded me of the late actress, Rebecca Shaeffer. She answered her door, to accept flowers from a fan, and she was murdered by him. I hope you saved the video, in which Rich stated only HE decides when a relationship ends. That video should be enough to file stalking charges....hopefully. I hope you can find peace and security.
