Behind the scenes // Speak Low
Added 2020-03-31 09:17:43 +0000 UTCHello, I'm working on a new song! Speak Low, a wonderful tune by Kurt Weill. I have been intrigued for quite some time with Henri Salvador's version which sounds so simple and effortless. Then later I listened to Laurindo Almeida's version from his album Brazilliance - vol. 1 and I found the two versions had a lot in common with a slight difference in background rhythms.
My version builds upon these two, with a pinch of Hammond which gives it a special flavor.
