Continuing with our repertoire of good music I would like to share some of the songs that I am currently working on.
The first one (almost done) would be the old tune Out Of Nowhere by Johnny Green. There are great versions of this song out there from Charlie Parker’s, to Sinatra’s, to Django Reinhardt’s, and many others. Interestingly enough, I couldn’t find any Travis picking style version so I came up with one. It is played in the key of G major and made for a simple guitar trio – guitar, bass and drums.
Some more songs to come soon are Pat Metheny’s wonderful tune The Last Train Home, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon. And, of course, there is always the chance of an unexpected surprise!
