This is a very interesting song for flatpickers. The original melody has two voices but I decided to divide them instead into lead and bass line.
Initially I wanted to give it a Latin sound by way of upright bass and Latin drum, but I got the same effect having the upright bass but keeping the original drum machine from the game :)
A lot of syncopated notes also contribute to the Latin rhythm.
The off-beat notes and syncopated rhythm remind me of Teen Town, a legendary song by Weather Report.
My suggestion is to use a simple alternate picking, which means you will be playing all syncopated notes with an upstroke.
The song is inf 4 short parts, in this order:
A B B C A
D D C D
This is repeated twice.
The short intro at the beginning is also the second half of the C part.
For this song I used my Easwood H44 guitar and I put a bit of chorus to it because I find that in combination with the bass it gives it a special flavor.
