Volare
Added 2020-09-22 17:00:24 +0000 UTCVolare (Nel blu, dipinto di blu) was originally composed and performed by the great Domenico Modugno and the song became so popular over the years that it was covered by many artists resulting in a wonderful array of performances. I mostly like jazz renditions and the two that caught my attention the most were the versions of guitarists Bill Jennings and Tony Mottola. I combined and rearranged the two, sped up the tempo a bit and added some orchestral (vibraphone and guitar) lines between the main melody phrases.
