Ok, here is my finished project. This Beatles song is so famous it doesn't need any introduction :)
So, as previously mentioned, I decided to go with a pure ambient sound for the accompanying backing track. Pleasing chord swells on electrical blending with the sound of rain to set a perfect atmosphere for this nostalgic ballad.
Although the song is in F major, I transposed it half a tone lower to E major in order to have open strings available to blend into chords. Nevertheless, if you put a capo on the first fret you'll have it back in the original key. For the intro and outro I played a bit with two wonderful chords, Emaj9 and Am maj13, and got a very nice pattern that lead perfectly into the melody of the song.
While arranging this cover I was inspired by Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa whose music I recently discovered. He has a so many great compositions on his youtube channel that I very much recommend you check him out.
Since the song doesn't have any beats I made a backing track with the drum so you can play it in tempo along with the chord swells.
