24 Bonus - July 2022 - Chord Booster 1
Added 2022-07-30 05:02:34 +0000 UTCIn this episode of the monthly bonus TABs, I want to start discovering and getting familiar with the chords that I most frequently use in my arrangements.
First we will get to know minor chords, more precisely minor, minor maj7, minor 7, minor 6 and minor 9. Literally every arrangement contains some of these chords.
In the PDF file, this sequence of minor chords is shown in each position on the fingerboard. In one row the sequence is in one position, and in the next row it is in the next position. Of course, some positions overlap, but anyhow the entire fingerboard is used/covered.
The displayed chords have 3 to 4 notes, which is much more useful than bulky chords with 6 notes, i.e. those for which you use all strings. Depending on the situation, the root tone can be omitted, so you can only have chords with 2 or 3 tones.
Feel free to practice them as a stack of chords in one position or to use individual chords in combination with other chords.
