Added 2023-01-11 18:05:00 +0000 UTCHere's another evergreen classic! Amado Mio was composed by Doris Fisher and Allan Roberts for the noir film Gilda from 1946. The song has been covered by many artists, the most prominent ones being Rita Hayworth, Grace Jones, Luz Casal and Pink Martini.
The form of this composition is AABB, and in this arrangement I added the AA part once again. The rhythmic pattern is in the rhumba-beguine style and it matches perfectly with the clean surf tones of the electric guitar.
