State of the Patreon May 2025

Hello lads,

I don't think I've done a State of the Patreon for the longest time, at least since my computer broke in June of last year, but now I more or less have the time to put something out like this, so here's the important news.

I'm quitting...my day job.

If there's been any question on my recent quality and release schedule for the past few months or so, it's been due to my regular 9-5 that was slowly becoming more than a 9-5. That and plus some other side projects I've been working on has left me with a bare minimum spare time to get stuff done. It was also stressful and I didn't like it. Watch Office Space.

Well no more! My artistic creations are now my primary source of income (and actually, they have been for the past 2 years), so suffice to say, there's going to be more content coming out more regularly, and hopefully with higher quality. I may even have the time now to learn Blender in the near future to fully upgrade my visuals.

So here's the plan for the next few weeks and for Dominica9's channel:

1. The commissions I have currently will be done on an accelerated time schedule. I have 2-3 poster comms, 1 more loop and 5 shorts to do. If I work on these outside of my monthly vids they should take maybe 6-8 weeks to get through completely. After that, I should be able to have commissions open more consistently.

2. The Suggestion Threads will be making a change. I'm going to go with a hybrid style with polls on 2A's suggestion and Dom's Choice for 3A, so 2A will be the same as before while 3A lets me make what sparks me. I'll also aim to make 3A's vids as long as my previous hits (around 3-5 minutes). I wanna really bust out my writing chops now that I have the time.

3. I have a survey link below I'd like you guys to fill out. I want to do marketing research to see where I need to push on the channel. For you guys it's to see how I can maintain your patronage. I'll also have a twitter one to see how to get new subscribers.

4. I'm going to spread my content out on other websites. I've been limited to just r34 and twitter for the longest time so I'm looking to reignite my Pixiv, start a Newgrounds, maybe throw stuff on reddit, etc. If there's other places to send stuff let me know, and remember, if a video has the watermark on it, you can upload my stuff anywhere you want (within reason).

5. I'm going make a SFW channel. I'll either make a new twitter profile or appropriate my Dominic K channel. If you guys have been a fan of my writing, then I hope I'll have something there that you'll enjoy outside of my usual draws.
