I Synchronized a Race Track to Music - Trackmania PF #3
Added 2022-04-15 16:11:14 +0000 UTCThis is no ordinary race track. It took me over 100 hours to create, matching various jumps and bounces of the car to the beat using trial and error.
Keep a look out for your name at the end of the video. Each of you get a personal car! If you're lucky, you'll jump through one of the rings to earn some points for you character. (White = common, blue = rare, purple = epic, orange = legendary).
P.S. I'm working on revamping the patron supporter stat database, so it will be easier for me to integrate in future videos. For this one I had to type out all the point values from the last battle for each of you, but I'll have it work automatically next time. The patron points are something I plan on continuing to build out into the future!

Thanks for the feedback! I don't have a behind the scenes video prepared, but I'll give that further consideration on future videos. In a nutshell, the trackmania videos are done with trial and error (plus me going crazy listening to the song so many times). The map editor allows you to place triggers when the vehicle enters a certain point on the map, so I use those triggers to play a precise time in the music. Similar to line rider, Trackmania has deterministic physics, so they car will move the same way given the same inputs each time.
