So... It's official, I need glasses!
Tried on a few at the docs office, which of these do you like best? I'm not sure any of these are in the final running, I'm hoping I can find someplace cheaper to get them. Tho bcs golly gosh they're damn pricey!
Apparently it may help some of my double vision, which was getting super bad... I could barely read my phone for half the day and I have it set up to big bold font!
Apparently it might also help with my 3 week long headache and migraines so that is a huge selling point for me even though I'm really apprehensive about the investment cuz it's a lot of money and a big commitment!
And we all know I'm terrified of commitment.... Like I research things for months before I buy a new lipstick for Christ's sake haha but I need the glasses in a hurry because of the headache issue... so don't be surprised if I just start like a random live stream for input when I'm at the glasses shop because I have no friends to go with me ππ
Now in lies the fun of trying to find the time and health spoons to get myself to the store as leaving the apt is a massive ordeal these days but hopefully I can manage it this week because I'm losing at least half a day to these things! Even if I can get the pain manageable it still leaves me with lots of cognition issues, nausea, dizziness, light/sound sensitivity... I'm just a wobbly squinty mess haha so fingers crossed!
Also I know nothing about glasses, I'm feeling pretty intimidated and lost, so any tips or advise for finding your first/a new pair is super appreciated!
To the best of my recollection I have some astigmatism and issues with distance vision that may be the headache issue so that's the Rx I have now. But then he said I may need something for close up too but then those are transition bifocal lenses? How am I supposed to pick haha
Is it better to invest in a good distance pair and get a crappy pair for close up instead?
Haaaaaaalp
